Welcome to Park® and Colby® amplifiers, two great amplifier brands brought to you by Mitch Colby. Mitch's vast experience with guitar amps as a guitarist, tweaker, tech, marketer and designer are the basis for serious guitar amplifiers whether its a 5 watt practice/recording amp or one built for the stage and recording.
Park amps faithfully recreate the sound, feel and look of some of the best British made amps from the 1960s and 1970s. They start with traditional "45" and "50" classic circuits that have been made immortal on so many of the best blues and rock recordings from the 1960s through the present. Also available is the verenable Park 75 with KT88 output tubes and two new lowered amps called the "Little Head" and "Little Rock".
So as for COLBY amps go.... Mitch always wanted to do it his way, but being a part of a larger team always led to compromise. Now that he has total control, he is building the amps he always dreamed of. The amps he would like to play, no matter how long they take to develop or how much they cost. These are amps that inspire you to play whether on stage, in the studio or at home. From the "Lil' Darlin" a 5 watt recording/practice amp to the "Mod Machine" the ultimate, British inspired multi-sound amp, to the "Dual Tone Booster", the ultimate American sound channel switching amp, Colby amps bring you a variety of great sounding amps.
Mitch Colby had a 30 year relationship with two of the most iconic British amp companies. After a long career with the exclusive US distributors of Marshall and VOX, he started Colby Amplification in 2012. Park became part of Colby in 2013. Mitch has since introduced a few models of Colby and Park amps that have already been added to the tone arsenals of collectors, tone aficionados and touring artists alike.
